This aircraft intercom comes in two versions - single-seat and two-seat, featuring communication between crew members. It is sufficiently universal to be used in aircraft made by other manufacturers.
The aircraft intercom is located in the pilot's cockpit. It is attached to the panel by four DZUS-type quick fasteners and therefore easily and quickly replaceable. If installed with the front panel facing up, it is resistant against dripping water that may condense in the cockpit in very humid environment. The unit is linked to the aircraft through two connectors on the rear panel. All controls are located on the front panel, controlling AF signal volume pots, „hot microphone" switch, top and bottom antenna switch and backup control stopped switch. The controls have dedicated shapes so the pilot can differentiate among them by touch.
