MESIT (MEMBER OF OMNIPOL GROUP) introduces the new M20A headset, delivering top-level communication in the noisy environment of military operations. A key feature of the new model is a modern active noise reduction (ANR) system, which ensures clear and intelligible transmission of information even in demanding tactical situations.

The new M20A headset is based on the proven design of the M20 model and is intended for hybrid deployment in all vehicle platforms, airborne units, and during ground operations. The modular concept enables easy integration with various types of helmets – using an adjustable headband, rail systems, or a neckband.

Top-class ANR technology for extreme conditions

The main innovation of the M20A model is the integrated Active Noise Reduction system, which, in combination with passive attenuation, significantly reduces disruptive noises typical of travel in tracked and wheeled vehicles or in combat situations.

The headset is equipped with four integrated microphones, providing full 360° situational awareness. High noise intensities are automatically reduced to a safe level. Low-level sounds are, on the contrary, amplified for maximum awareness of the surrounding environment.

“The M20A headset represents the next step in the development of MESIT tactical communication systems. Thanks to the combination of active noise reduction, ambient listening, and high operational durability, this is a solution users can rely on even in extreme conditions,” said Jaroslav Hovorka, CEO of MESIT asd.

Ergonomics, low profile and high durability

The M20A is designed with an emphasis on ergonomics, compatibility, and durability:

•          narrow profile with fully integrated electronics

•          soft, comfortable earcups for long-term use

•          intuitive control buttons

•          low weight and high mechanical resistance

•          fulfilment of key requirements of MIL STD standards

The headset is compatible with modern tactical radio systems, intercom systems, and communication systems onboard military vehicles. It is fully integrable with MESIT products as well as with systems of other manufacturers.

Test-driven development

Development and validation of M20A’s parameters take place in MESIT testing laboratories that simulate extreme operating conditions corresponding to real deployment. This makes it possible to thoroughly verify functional properties, long-term stability and operational reliability of the solution already at the prototyping stage. This approach is an essential prerequisite for deployment in defence and aviation applications, where there are extraordinary requirements for consistent performance and equipment resilience.
